Order Processing
We only accept orders with US billing and shipping addresses. Prices and payments are in US dollars. If a product is out of stock, we will notify you on the product detail page. Some products sell out quickly. In the event of merchandise unavailability once an order has been placed, you will be notified by e-mail. After placing your order you will receive an e-mail with order confirmation. Your credit card will be charged at the time of shipment.
Most ceramic art is shipped directly from the artisan's warehouse or studio. We will contact you via e-mail within 48 hours of your order to tell you the date on which your purchase will be shipped and the date it should arrive.
Please note that oversized or extremely fragile pieces such as our (Lava Stone Tables) may require the services of a shipping company specializing in fine arts handling, which may delay delivery.
Fax/Mail Orders
We value you as a client and understand your preference of not having your transactions processed via our website. Therefore, Aloico – Sicilian Home Décòr offers you the option of faxing your order or mailing it via US postal service when checking out.
Place the items you wish to purchase in the shopping basket and then proceed to checkout, where you will then have the option to order by fax or mail. Print the order form, which will already include your order information then, fill in the personal/billing information and fax or mail the form to Aloico – Sicilian Home Décòr.

Return Policy
We stand by the quality of our products and your 100% satisfaction. Ceramic Art, may be returned within (14) days from the shipping date for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping and handling charges.
(Lava Stone Tables) must be returned within (7) days from the date of receipt. Merchandise must be returned in its original packing material to ensure safe shipment. We recommend our customers use the self-addressed return label included in their shipment.
We recommend that you DO NOT accept packages that appear to be damaged. Majolica ceramics must be handled with care and should not be used in the oven or microwave. They are for decorative use only – unless otherwise specified.
To return merchandise, please use the following instructions:
- The returned merchandise should be undamaged. Aloico – Sicilian Home Décòr reserves the right to evaluate the condition of the merchandise. If the merchandise was damaged by the purchaser, Aloico – Sicilian Home Décòr will not grant a refund for the damaged merchandise. Specifically, with respect to damaged merchandise, Aloico – Sicilian Home Décor, will grant a refund, including cost of returning the merchandise, only if the merchandise was damaged by Aloico – Sicilian Home Décor during shipping.
- With the exception of (lava stone tables), merchandise must be returned to Aloico – Sicilian Home Décor within (14) days of the shipping date. (Lava Stone Tables) must be returned within (7) days from date of receipt.
- Please use the return form contained in your order. On the form, indicate which item(s) you are returning and the reason for return of the item(s).
- Pack the merchandise with the original packing material and include the return form in the box. Address the package using the return address label included with your original shipment.
- The cost of returning unwanted purchases rests with the customer. Aloico – Sicilian Home Décor will only accept packages with shipping charges prepaid. Also, returned merchandise should be insured for its full value with the shipping company. The customer must be able to provide shipping/delivery confirmation.
- Upon receipt of the returned merchandise and verification of compliance with the above stated terms and conditions, a full refund of the purchase price will be credited to the credit card account used to place the order, or a check issued if the purchase was made by personal check or money order. Please allow two to three weeks for processing the refund.

Privacy
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. Your information is used solely to process your order and enhance your shopping experience. It is Aloico – Sicilian Home Décor policy to ensure that your personal information is handled in a responsible and secure manner.
When you order, we ask for your name, e-mail address, billing and mailing address, telephone number, credit card type, number and expiration date. This allows us to process and fill your order. Also, we collect contact information for gift recipients in order to ensure correct gift delivery. Financial information (credit card numbers, credit card expiration dates, billing address, etc.) that is collected is used to bill you for products and services. Financial information is not used for any other purpose than billing.
We may notify you occasionally concerning new services, products and special offers. If you would rather not receive this information, please indicate so by sending us a message using our online form. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
Finally, we'd like to let you know that Aloico – Sicilian Home Décòr uses "cookie" technology. This technology allows a web site to store some information on the visitor's computer in the form of a "cookie" or a similar file. These files would allow Aloico – Sicilian Home Décòr to keep track of a customer's visits to our site, what you put into your shopping cart and other preferences.
"Cookies" cannot be used by us to retrieve any personal information about you from your computer unless such information was knowingly and willingly provided by you. Most web browsers allow web users to exercise control over such files on their computers by erasing them, blocking them, or notifying the user when such a file is stored.

To protect customer information, Aloico – Sicilian Home Décòr utilizes Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL was designed by Netscape to provide a secure means of interacting with web sites through data encryption, server authentication, and message integrity services. Specifically, we use VeriSign for the SSL encryption and server authentication.
Aloico – Sicilian Home Décòr utilizes SSL to receive customer billing, shipping, and credit card information. Name, address and credit card information is encrypted through VeriSign's service. When entering this information you may check the URL line on your browser.
A line beginning with "https" signifies that your information is being processed through SSL. Questions regarding Aloico – Sicilian Home Décòr use of the SSL technology can be submitted using our online form.

Shipping & Handling
We offer these shipping options - Ground, Express International Air, and 2nd Day. The arrival time of your order depends on when you place your order and the shipping option that you choose. Order arrival timetables are explained below - NOTE that weekends and holidays affect the delivery timeline. At this time, we are unable to ship to non-U.S. addresses.
Shipping and handling expenses are the customer's responsibility. These charges are calculated based on the shipping location and the weight of the shipment, and will be displayed for your review prior to the time when you are asked to choose a payment option and enter the payment information. The minimum shipping charge is $5.99.
Please note that Ground shipping is not available for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. Shipments to these locations must use Express International Air or 2nd Day.
With respect to oversize purchases, Aloico – Sicilian Home Décòr utilizes special packaging specifically designed for these shipments. Although in most cases we rely on express carriers such as UPS or Federal Express, oversized or especially fragile pieces are packaged by and sent via carriers who specialize in handling artworks.
- Ground (From San Diego Warehouse) - Allow 5 to 7 days for delivery

- Express International Air (From Italy Warehouse/Artisan Studio) - Allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery for Small/Medium Size Ceramic Merchandise. Allow 4 to 8 weeks for delivery for Large Ceramic Merchandise, Lava Stone Tables or Back Ordered Items.

International Shipments
At this time, we are unable to ship to non-U.S. addresses.
Sales Tax
Sales taxes will not apply to shipments outside the state of California. Orders shipped within the state of California will be charged the applicable sales tax.
Redeeming Special Offers
Redeeming your special offer coupon/code is straightforward. As you select items for purchase, your shopping basket will reflect the regular price of the products. Once you proceed to checkout, you will be asked to enter your shipping and billing information.
On that same page, a place is provided for entering the special offer code, which appears on your special offer coupon. Submitting this form will take you to the next page where the details of your transaction are displayed. At that point, the amount of discount applied and your after-discount total will be displayed.
